South West Africa includes German South West (Deutsch-Südwestafrika) - Stamps, a Booklet, Postmarks, Postal Stationey (mint and used), Postcards
plus Postal History.


During WWI, after the surrender of the Germans on 9 July 1915, the administration of the country was taken over by the Union of South Africa who established a military régime - This period is covered by postmarks and postal history using South African Kings heads.

On 1 January 1921 Civil Administration of South West Africa commenced and the first overprinted stamps were introduced on 1 January 1923.
Our extensive stock covers the entire period to 1990 - The country became Independent & renamed Namibia and we also stock these issues up to 2017

For Basutoland we offer Stamps and Specimens of KGV, KGVI and QEII plus Postage Dues, Revenues, Postmarks, Postal Stationery.
There is a brief History of Basutoland and a good range of Postal History which includes early covers, items posted during the Boer War and P.O.W. mail to Camps in Ceylon. We also offer covers posted from scarce Post Offices.
Our Bechuanaland stock includes Stamps, blocks and varieties from British Bechuanaland that includes the £1 and £5 high values used.
The Bechuanaland Protectorate offers stamps from the Reign of Queen Victoria, KEVII, KGV, KGVI and QEII plus Specimens, Postage Dues, Revenues. The overprinted Seahorse issue includes a stunning mint block of four and we also offer a rare multiple of a KGV 1/- with inverted watermark. Postal Stationery and Postal History is well represented including a Die Proof and SPECIMENS.

South African Philately is well represented starting with a range of material from the Pre-Union Provinces of the Cape of Good Hope, Orange Free State, Natal and Transvaal with strength in stamps of KEVII. Zululand offers a range of stamps of Queen Victoria. The Union of South Africa from 1910 to 1961 includes stamps, Officials, Postage Dues and Booklets. We stock cylinder blocks, varieties and anything unusual.
Major varieties feature prominently and we currently own the rarest known varieties.

Our Republic of South Africa includes a good range of the first 1961 - 1973 Definitives in Cylinder blocks, larger multiples plus later issues.
We have on offer the 1987 40c Bible Stamp unmounted mint and commercially used. There are varieties and Postage Dues.

Our Swaziland stock includes the early Transvaal Overprints both on and off cover. KGV includes the stamps and Specimens and there is a large range of KGVI blocks and Imprints. We offer a Postage Due Die Proof and an excellent range of covers to suit all tastes.
